PAS GAS
PAS GAS, the main app, is based on some of the original sound sources used in early Planetary Assault Systems productions. We wanted to create something that combines simplicity, enjoyment, groove and results, while finely tuning the models to Luke's own taste and reflecting, to a degree, the way he likes these machines to sound and be controlled.
Luke has used PAS GAS as a plug-in in the PAS live show and thought it would be great to release it to the public.
From Luke: “One thing that struck me while finalising PAS GAS is that it has educational value too. It is laid out logically and offers a great way to introduce new artists starting out to the basic building blocks of techno and house, and the synthesis of sound.”
Of course, it is not possible to include every sound source, but this selection of modules makes it easy to get a groove going quickly and carry on from there. It is quite addictive, so beware :)
